Palm Oil Workshop 2019

Mineral Oil derived from crude oil and mainly consists of MOSHs and MOAHs hydrocarbon. The contamination of food with mineral oil is an important issue and this workshop emphasis the latest technique to analyse mineral oil against contamination and the advance solution for food quality and safety analysis to meet updated regulations. The laboratory exercise demonstrates hexane residues analysis in fats and oil using headspace analysis (AOCS Official Method Ca 3b-87).
