Our corporate headquarter, Shimadzu Corporation, is a traditional Japanese manufacturer, which marked its 140th anniversary in 2015.

What it has tirelessly fostered since the inception include its corporate philosophy that is “Contributing to Society through Science and Technology”. As its corporate DNA, it has been ingrained into each employee of Shimadzu group from across the globe and beyond generations, always being the guideline that every corporate activity of ours has to be in line with.

Our product focuses have gone through changes along the way to meet the current requirements of the time. Today, our products, which are analytical & measurement instruments and medical equipment, are designed to help address the concern of the well-being of humankind and the glove, serving particular needs of big challenges that face humanity, such as healthcare, environmental preservation, food safety, and life science.

We, Shimadzu Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., are a new start-up company, which inaugurated on January 2^nd, 2015, taking over the business of medical equipment from Shimadzu (Asia Pacific) Pte Ltd (Malaysia Branch) and the business of analytical & measurement instruments from Fisher Scientific (M) Sdn. Bhd.

Our priority is to enhance our customers support abilities so that we can be of invaluable assistance, and indirectly being recognized as No. 1 partner by our customers from broader arenas including healthcare providers, research institutes, testing laboratories, universities, and other educational fields. Besides, we are well known to the wide array of industries such as pharmaceutical, food and beverage, chemical, electrical/electronics, and motor.
