University of Malaya Outstanding Award (ACUM 2024)

The University of Malaya Outstanding Award (ACUM 2024) is an annual recognition presented to exceptional University of Malaya (UM) staff members as well as corporate partners, in appreciation of their significant contributions to the university.

This prestigious event was graced by the presence of His Royal Highness Sultan Nazrin Shah, the Sultan of Perak and Chancellor of the University of Malaya, who personally presented the awards during the 2024 Excellent University Awards (ACUM) ceremony.

Shimadzu Malaysia Sdn Bhd is honoured to be selected as the recipient of the 2024 University of Malaya (ACUM) Outstanding Award in the Research Corporate Partner category. This recognition highlights the impactful scientific collaboration between Shimadzu and UM’s High Impact Research Center (UM HIR), which led to the establishment of SUTRALAB. Positioned as a premier centre of excellence in xenobiotic research in Malaysia, SUTRALAB pioneers innovative research initiatives through the utilization of Shimadzu’s cutting-edge analytical instruments for method development, refinement, and advanced analysis.
